The giant cardigan of Cardigan.

Yesterday I was so fortunate to see the giant cardigan of Cardigan.
A beautiful exhibition of a collaborative work of knitting art, put together by Lisa Hellier. She came up with the idea of knitting a map of Cardigan, on a giant knitted cardigan.
She had a team of local people ,and herself,  getting together, like a knitting bee, to create this work of art.
I can't tell you how lovely it is, but it's stunning and hopefully you can see it in these photos.
You can view it at the Guidlhall Cardigan now.
Enjoy :)

You can see my daughter in the background :)

The inside opens up to show faces of the people that live here...
and my daughter striking a pose again....

I love the houses and the water...

and we must not forget the mermaid of St Dogmaels...
