I love my students

More lovely people again yesterday at my workshop , creating wonderful lino prints, this time using larger pieces of lino.

Another bespoke wedding dress...

It was an absolute joy to make this dress for a very special lady.
Made in dupion silk, I enjoyed every minute of creating a dress in the style she wanted, I hope you enjoy looking at it

Recently I have been going right back to where I started, with my folk art painting of furniture.
Here's a cupboard I made recently, which found a new home rather quickly.

Log cabins...

My better half makes wonderful buildings out of wood, and here's his latest creation, a two storey log cabin, with a bathroom.

It looks dainty in my photos, but the doors are very large, and its a bigger than it looks, it's set in a woodland backdrop, most fitting for the area.

Hes currently having a website built, so you can see the structures he makes from wood.

Even his outside woodpile, stash shed is eyecatching. You can see him measuring up, in front of it :)

Friends and things...

I have the most lovely friends and it's always a pleasure to visit them in their homes, even though I have to paint a picture for my supper sometimes lol.

Here you can see a self portrait, my friend Keryls very stylish, Scandinavian, retro kitchen, ( she made me paint ! )

Then there's Sharon's folk art kitchen, with her bedlington terrier Badger, testing the rug..... :)
