Heres a quick snip of my latest commission for a very special little lady named Lily. Heres the Coraline I have made, waiting patiently for her clothes to be made..........

Medieval Inspiration of the Heart...............

I found these two beauties today on ebay and arent they just delightful, medieval buttons in the form of hearts, they are circa 1400 and so inspiring. The heart has been used as a symbol through all time. We havent just thought of the idea, these buttons would fit in easily today, and steal the heart of anyone who looks at them :0)

Sooo much to do and so little time--where does it all go ???  I need to do lots of things, too much to mention like most of us, so its time to break it all down into bit sized pieces---first --I need to get the etsy shop open, then theres the fayres, the museum, xmas gifts, children, dogs, food ...!!!! ,  its etsy shop first, BUT before that its my favourite coffee and plenty of it !!

Well its wet and damp and miserable outside, but inside the toys and myself are getting very busy and happy, packing things and planning our time and space at the national trusts museum of childhood, its exciting and we all just cant wait. Even little hoola bear has climbed onto the table to see whats what and the old dolls head is always having a nosey look out the window...i wonder what she will look at, at Sudbury Hall ?????

My Favourite artists.......... The Potter Paul Young

One of my most favourite Potters has to be the very kind and talented Paul Young. His work is beautifully hand made and decorated, full of joy and a folk art style that I totally adore.
Below is an image of his studio and his leaping slipware hare platter--- all simply beautiful !!!

He will be exhibiting next month with mark herald at the yorkshire sculpture park :0)

As many of you know, I happen to LOVE Hartley Hare from Pipkins, and I urge all of you who havent, to search for the Naughty Puppet episode on you tube, its very funny :0)

I am still struggling to get my Etsy shop completed, to my liking, but I promise to have it live by the weekend.
