It suddenly dawned on me whilst reading quietly in my bedroom, that some friends were patiently looking , reminding me that Easter was just around the corner.......

ScuLpTiNg in ClAy AgaIn........

Its been sometime since I got my hands in the clay, and I didnt realise how much I missed it till now. Heres a glimpse of a galloping hare of mine, that I have sculpted in terracotta. Its part of an upcoming series of exhibitions and shows, including tatton park, with Marcus Holmes and Studio Bisque. Collecting, just like creating--- is a disease with me and surrounding myself with things that inspire me or make me smile, give me great joy--every little corner can be filled with inspiration if you want it to be there-----you just have to know where to look !!----- and heres a little corner where I do my paperwork :0)

EasTeR PooKa ShOp WinDoW diSpLaY.......

The inspiration for this window came from scandinavian paper cuts, and czech animation, I wanted it to look like spring and have mad march hares but not be too obvious, I hope you enjoy looking at it , as much as I enjoyed creating it. ( the pin wheels are made from fabric, with a button centre !!)

January and feb, the darker times.....

Yes indeed january and feb were the hardest on record for retail that i have ever experienced, but thankfully now that spring has sprung things are back to normal, heres a picture of my easter leaping hare, with little chickies on her back....email me for details...

obituary

Last month my beautiful Grandmother passed away and i cant begin to describe how much she will be missed. I was lucky to spend some wonderful days with her before her parting.

She has left a big void, which i plan to fill with creation--all the skills she has taught me and passed on to me, i plan to pass on too, its a kind of immortality....
