Christmas Cirque de Kitty

Here we have a lovely Kitty that was made for a surprise xmas present, she was a joy to make and I used antique french pom pom trimmings for her collar.

I hope her new mom loved her, as much as I did  :)

Hartley Hare - esque hand puppet is completed !!

Here he is, and I can honestly say hes the most enjoyable creature-thing, I have made so far, look out for lots more hand puppets in 2014 and workshops to make your own too !

Early stages on the Hartley Hare puppet, lots of correction to do--ears to long and face sculpt to do , etc, this is stage one, more to follow soon.

Shes now off on her journey to australia to her lovely new home .............

Shes a very lucky Missy, she will be very loved.............

Animation is what I am doing in 2014.....

There will be foxes, badgers and lots of rabbits ofcourse  !

Christmas Craft Fayre in Belper Derbyshire.....

Hello all,

here are the details for the final craft fayre that I will be doing this year, as most of you know Linda and I decided that we were not going to continue with the quirky fayres due to separate commitments and ideas for our own work. Linda will be offering lovely workshops from her beautiful home in derbyshire in 2014 and I will be doing them from my chapel in the forest of dean glos. She will also be hosting special private and special selling events from her home too and I will host specialist shows from my chapel--  I will post details as soon as I have them from Linda, and obviously I will post my own timetable of workshops etc, available for next year very soon ;)

This craft show will be held in Belper derbyshire, at the lovely Number 28 art deco hall in the marketplace, it is free admission and all are welcome. It will have a few familiar faces and lots of tea and cake, alot of local artists too. As always I have Eddie Glew, famous from his stints on the Kirstie Alsopp programmes on Channel 4 . I hope you can join myself and my friends for a very christmassy and fun day, with alot of handmade top quality xmas bargains :)

Santa or Sasquatch !!

After much thought about what do I design for this years christmas card, I decided it boiled down to two of my favourite characters, Santa or Sasquatch......

Every year I like to make and print my own cards, usually they have been foxes, hares, robins etc and all quite traditional, I usually carve them and do a lino print, but I wanted something very different.....
