A Learner Driver.....

Another addition to the affordable art series, a mixed media study, with a lot of humour. I try to use humour in nearly all of my work, as I think its a coping mechanism for everyday lifes ups and downs.

A smile will always make you feel better.

Priced to sell, as I am passionate about people being able to afford real art. Its a very vibrant coloured piece, which sadly the camera can never seem to really catch. I hope you have fun looking at her.

1950's Inspired still life.....

Here we have another in my affordable art series, about to go onto etsy now.

I thought it would be fun to make a painting evocative of those wonderful floral fifties fabrics of bunches of flowers, that were commonplace in the 1950's, I have enjoyed it very much. Quite a joyful project.

I am passionate about making affordable art, so that everyone can have the chance of owning something original, it makes me feel good, and makes my job as an artist feel more worthy.

More posts coming soon, with the new etsy makes , I am now focused on keeping that etsy shop well stocked, so fingers crossed I can keep organised and keep on .

One of the nicest things about making dolls is the tiny intricate things to sewn by hand.

Finishing things.........

I am desparately trying to get things finished in my studio, lots of projects that arent yet finished but are coming together slowly. My last lot of commissions all go out on monday and I feel that I wont be doing any more commissions after that. I will be making work and loading the etsy shop, etc, but no more things made to order, as with my ms , I just find it harder and harder to apply myself to order, its easier for me to go with the creative flow these days.
