How to make blackberry muffins and chocolate !!!!
You will need the following,
into a large mixing bowl place--
two medium eggs, two large mugs full of self raising flour, one large mug full of caster sugar, one large mug full of margarine or vegetable oil and half a pint of milk, or a little more so that the mixture has the right consistency.
Mix it altogether to form a yummy mixture, then add three quarters of a very large bar of bournville chocolate chopped up and two large mugfulls of black berries and slowly fold in.
Place the mixture into cake cases within two muffin pans.

crochet shawl in noro..........
Not often I crochet, but now and again I like to give it a whirl, in rememberance of my rather wonderful Great Aunty Lil, who taught me when I was 6 years old. Ofcourse I have to thank my wonderful Nan for my knitting skills, that she bestowed upon me at the age of 3, and to my very tolerent mother, who has always put up with my creations and stripey knitted jumpers that she financed through out my early years.
This is using Noro again, and basically is made up as I go along, like the other shawl, please email me for any details, advice etc on tinchapeltextiles@yahoo.com

MIXED MEDIA SHADOW BOX.
I love making funky little shadow boxes, they are such fun! I like to mix textiles, paper, jewels, whenever I can, and I love the image of the russian doll, it will never fail to please!!
I like to use old sheet music for the backing too, these old books can be found quite cheaply on flea markets, thrift shops and on the good old british car boots ! ( In fact I think you can find everything at the carboot!!)

Izzanah Walker style of heritage doll
Heres a picture of a recently completed, fabric sculpted doll, with breastplate. She is hand painted and is reminiscent of the Izzanah Walker dolls of america. Behind her is one of the minature wall quilts that I make, hand pieced using both vintage and new fabrics, then hand quilted, please feel free to contact me for prices.
my tin chapel !!
Here is the Tin Chapel where my textiles business began.Unused as a chapel it served as an amazing peaceful studio. Now that we have moved to the cotswolds, I have another studio in a barn--visitors welcome, by appointment!
But I still have the use of my lovely tin chapel in Gloucestershire, for the future.
Theres no getting away from the fact that chapels and churches make great places to work, as they are so peaceful and always seem to have great light!
